A Bit About Me
After over 10 years in child care I have a strong connection to the idea of motherhood. Once I reached college I had trouble finding my path, it took me two years at a four year university to realize I was on the wrong path. I was meant to be an OB/GYN, a doula and everything in between. I am currently finishing my bachelors degree while working as a CNA and a Doula! With my long path to medical school, I felt then that it was my calling to become a doula and start guiding and educating mothers in their birth journeys. The word “doula” is an ancient Greek word meaning ‘woman caregiver’, and in my practice I offer support to women and their partners before, during and after childbirth. My role is to help facilitate safe, positive and empowering birthing experiences by offering the information, emotional support and physical support needed during this time.
